Recruitment Services
People are your club's life force. Recruitment is of vital importance to the sustainability, or advancement, of your club. Recruitment is also a continual process and can be a daunting and an awkward burden to smaller clubs, or those with a limited volunteer resource.
Here are just two examples of how Matt can assist you with this most important task.
FLYERS - Design, Production & Distribution
Next to website production, Matt’s recruitment services are the second most popular of his services. Matt’s services range from the design and approval of your flyer to high quality bulk manufacture and door-to-door distribution in your town or designated area.
Flyers are one of the simplest, quickest and most effective ways of getting your club’s name and activity known to your local residents. Of course, not everyone who receives your flyer is going to take up your activity but everyone will now be aware of your club and your activity and there’s a good chance that that you’ll pick up those, much needed, new members. In the very least, you can be assured that you will see an increase in hits to your website, as people seek more information about your club and the activities on offer.
Here are a few examples of some flyers produced by Matt. Images open in a new window.

As an incentive, Matt will not charge for the design of your flyer if you wish to take advantage of his flyer production and distribution services.
Generally speaking a run of 5000 flyers, (enough for a Calne/Corsham sized town), DL sized, full colour satin or gloss finish, printed in the front and rear, costs from £350. Obviously, less costs less and price breaks are available for larger runs.
As a guide, distribution costs £60 per 1000 flyers and it may be possible to reduce this cost by having your flyer grouped with others. However, there is a risk that your flyer may be come lost amongst the others, therefore Matt always recommends a solo flyer drop to maximise the intended effect and achieving the best value for your club’s money.
Matt's new Virtual Office Services may also be a benefit to you. By using the Matt's contact information on flyers and advertising material, Matt will be able to professionally respond, on your behalf, to emails and phone calls from potential new recruits and/or members.
BANNERS - Design, Production & Placement
Banners can be big, colourful and dramatic or discrete and tasteful, but either way a relatively small finical output can generate a surprising level of interest in your club.
As a guide, Matt has found that a very clear 3 meter long banner with a 1 meter drop, works particularly well. Below is an example used to great effect by Calne Rugby Football Club. This design only uses a handful of colours, but for the same price images, photos and complicated logos can be easily incorporated into your design.

Prices mainly depend on size and not the number of colours or complexity. A 3 meter by 1 meter banner generally costs £110.
Placement is as key as the banner’s design and content. Most town councils have a designated place for community related banners and are willing to display them for a period of time. But it is also worthwhile talking to local businesses and your sponsors to see if they have a good display space. If you haven’t got the time or contacts, Matt can sort all this out for you for a small fee.
Also, have a think about taking advantage of Matt's Virtual Office Services. Matt can take the hassle out of responding to emails and phone calls, by acting on your behalf as your point of contact for potential new recruits and/or members.
